Lutheran Bible Translators of Canada (LBTC) is registered with the federal government of Canada as a charity (Registration # 10765 0129 R R 0001). LBTC provides Canada Revenue Agency, the government agency regulating all charities operating in Canada, with an annual report of revenue and expenditures. LBTC depends on its voting members to drive its activities. The LBTC Board of Directors is comprised of voting members elected by fellow LBTC voting members. Directors do not receive remuneration for their services. They meet twice annually. To learn more about the Board and voting membership, click here.
Audited by an outside accounting firm, the annual budget is part of the annual report and is presented to LBTC voting members at the Annual Meeting to accept. Voters unable to attend the meeting will receive an annual report in the mail following the Annual Meeting. For a copy of the most recent financial statements, contact the LBTC office.
