Office staff in Canada administers activities and acts as a liaison for Lutheran Bible Translators of Canada and those involved in any way with its mission. They are directly responsible for providing services to missionaries and overseas volunteers, and work closely with the Board of Directors to initiate and executive Board directives.

Here is a list of individual office staff positions and how they might help you:

Executive Director

Rev. David Maffett manages missionaries, overseas volunteers and office staff in Canada and executes Board policies and initiatives. As a recruiter, he visits colleges and schools to explain the mission of LBTC and invites potential candidates to begin the process of determining whether they might become Bible translators or other specialists for LBTC.

David also promotes LBTC to congregations, groups and individuals across Canada through congregational visits and attending church-related gatherings. As a pastor and missionary himself, he appreciates invitations to connect with supporters in group settings and is willing to preach or lead lectures on many mission-related topics. Administrative Assistant

Accounting Supervisor

Tara Bradley is in charge of all accounting functions for the Canadian office. She coordinates her work closely with the Executive Director, the Board of Directors and missionaries in the field. To connect directly with Tara, click here.

Development Coordinator

Jane Ford develops all publications and communications about LBTC. Working under the direction of the Executive Director, she provides support to missionaries and manages volunteers.
